Nuvalo hecht veel waarde aan de bescherming van jouw persoonsgegevens. In dit privacybeleid leggen we uit welke gegevens we verzamelen, waarom we dat doen, hoe lang we ze bewaren en welke rechten jij hebt. Dit beleid is van toepassing op alle diensten die Nuvalo aanbiedt via nuvalo.app en gonuvalo.com.

2. Welke gegevens verzamelen we?

Wij verzamelen uitsluitend gegevens die jij zelf aan ons verstrekt via het aanvraagformulier op onze website:

  • Bedrijfsnaam
  • E-mailadres
  • Aantal beoogde gebruikers
  • Geüploade bestanden (Excel-bestand en bedrijfslogo)
  • Geselecteerde prijscategorie en/of modules

Offerte-module (nuvalo.app). Wanneer een ondernemer via Nuvalo offertes opstelt, verwerken wij namens die ondernemer gegevens van diens klanten: naam, e-mailadres, adres, telefoonnummer, eventueel KvK- en btw-nummer en de inhoud van de offerte. Wanneer een klant een offerte digitaal accepteert, leggen wij het IP-adres, de browsergegevens (user-agent) en het tijdstip vast als bewijs van de overeenkomst. Voor deze klantgegevens is de ondernemer de verwerkingsverantwoordelijke en treedt Nuvalo op als verwerker; hierop is een verwerkersovereenkomst van toepassing.

Wij plaatsen geen tracking cookies, gebruiken geen Google Analytics en maken geen gebruik van advertentienetwerken.

3. Waarom verwerken we jouw gegevens?

Wij verwerken jouw persoonsgegevens uitsluitend voor de volgende doeleinden:

  • Uitvoering van de overeenkomst — om jouw aanvraag te beoordelen, een offerte op te stellen en de afgesproken software te bouwen.
  • Communicatie — om contact met je op te nemen over jouw aanvraag, voortgang en oplevering.
  • Facturatie — om na akkoord en oplevering een factuur te kunnen sturen.

Juridische grondslag: uitvoering van een overeenkomst (AVG art. 6 lid 1b) en gerechtvaardigd belang (AVG art. 6 lid 1f).

4. Hoe lang bewaren we jouw gegevens?

  • Gegevens uit het websiteformulier: 12 maanden na het laatste contact.
  • Na opzegging van een account: gegevens blijven 12 maanden beschikbaar voor export, daarna worden ze verwijderd (behoudens wettelijke bewaarplichten).
  • Gegevens van actieve of afgeronde opdrachten: 7 jaar (conform wettelijke bewaarplicht).
  • Offertes en bijbehorende klantgegevens (offerte-module): geaccepteerde of afgeronde offertes 7 jaar (fiscale bewaarplicht); niet-geaccepteerde of verlopen offertes blijven bewaard zolang het account van de ondernemer actief is (als klanthistorie en voor het opnieuw uitbrengen van een offerte) en worden verwijderd bij beëindiging van het account.
  • Geüploade bestanden: worden verwijderd zodra de analyse is afgerond en de opdracht niet doorgaat, of uiterlijk 6 maanden na ontvangst.

5. Delen we jouw gegevens met derden?

Nuvalo verkoopt jouw gegevens nooit aan derden. Wij maken gebruik van de volgende verwerkers:

  • Supabase — database, opslag en serverfuncties (servers binnen de EU, Frankfurt).
  • Resend — verzending van bevestigings- en offertemails (VS, met EU-modelcontractbepalingen/SCC's).
  • Cloudflare — DNS/domeinbeheer (VS, met SCC's).
  • Vercel — hosting en CDN; verwerkt technische gegevens zoals IP-adres en browsergegevens voor levering en beveiliging van de website (VS, met SCC's).

De actuele lijst staat altijd op de subverwerkers-pagina.

Buiten deze partijen worden jouw gegevens niet gedeeld, tenzij wij daartoe wettelijk verplicht zijn.

6. Beveiliging

Wij nemen passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen om jouw persoonsgegevens te beschermen. Alle communicatie verloopt via HTTPS. Geüploade bestanden worden opgeslagen in een beveiligde omgeving met beperkte toegang.

7. Jouw rechten

Op grond van de AVG heb je de volgende rechten:

  • Inzage — je kunt opvragen welke gegevens wij van jou hebben.
  • Rectificatie — je kunt onjuiste gegevens laten corrigeren.
  • Verwijdering — je kunt verzoeken om verwijdering van jouw gegevens.
  • Bezwaar — je kunt bezwaar maken tegen de verwerking van jouw gegevens.
  • Gegevensoverdraagbaarheid — je kunt jouw gegevens opvragen in een gangbaar bestandsformaat.

Heb je een klacht? Dan kun je een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

8. Cookies

Nuvalo gebruikt geen tracking cookies of analytische cookies. Wij plaatsen uitsluitend functionele cookies die strikt noodzakelijk zijn voor de werking van de website.

9. Wijzigingen

Wij kunnen dit privacybeleid aanpassen als onze dienstverlening of de wetgeving daartoe aanleiding geeft. De meest actuele versie staat altijd op deze pagina.

2. What data do we collect?

We only collect data that you provide to us directly via the request form on our website:

  • Company name
  • Email address
  • Number of intended users
  • Uploaded files (Excel file and company logo)
  • Selected price category and/or modules

Quote module (nuvalo.app). When a business creates quotes through Nuvalo, we process — on behalf of that business — data of its customers: name, email address, address, phone number, optionally Chamber of Commerce and VAT number, and the contents of the quote. When a customer accepts a quote digitally, we record the IP address, browser details (user agent), and timestamp as proof of the agreement. For this customer data, the business is the data controller and Nuvalo acts as data processor; a data processing agreement applies.

We do not place tracking cookies, do not use Google Analytics, and do not use advertising networks.

3. Why do we process your data?

We process your personal data solely for the following purposes:

  • Performance of the agreement — to assess your request, prepare a proposal, and build the agreed software.
  • Communication — to contact you about your request, progress, and delivery.
  • Invoicing — to send an invoice after approval and delivery.

Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

4. How long do we retain your data?

  • Website form data: 12 months after the last contact.
  • After account termination: data remains available for export for 12 months, after which it is deleted (subject to statutory retention obligations).
  • Data from active or completed assignments: 7 years (statutory retention obligation).
  • Quotes and associated customer data (quote module): accepted or completed quotes 7 years (statutory retention obligation); non-accepted or expired quotes are retained for as long as the business's account is active (as customer history and for re-issuing a quote) and are deleted when the account is terminated.
  • Uploaded files: deleted once the analysis is complete and the assignment does not proceed, or no later than 6 months after receipt.

5. Do we share your data with third parties?

Nuvalo never sells your data to third parties. We use the following processors:

  • Supabase — database, storage and server functions (servers within the EU, Frankfurt).
  • Resend — sending confirmation and proposal emails (US, with EU Standard Contractual Clauses/SCCs).
  • Cloudflare — DNS/domain management (US, with SCCs).
  • Vercel — hosting and CDN; processes technical data such as IP address and browser details for delivery and security of the website (US, with SCCs).

Beyond these parties, your data is not shared unless we are legally obliged to do so.

6. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. All communication is encrypted via HTTPS. Uploaded files are stored in a secure environment with restricted access.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access — you can request what data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — you can have incorrect data corrected.
  • Erasure — you can request deletion of your data.
  • Objection — you can object to the processing of your data.
  • Data portability — you can request your data in a common file format.

Have a complaint? You can file one with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

8. Cookies

Nuvalo does not use tracking or analytical cookies. We only place functional cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website.

We may update this privacy policy if our services or legislation require it. The most current version is always available on this page.
